A complete harness and wing system with 50lbs of lift, the Nomad JT has been designed as the ultimate for purists and hard core sidemount explorers who want a streamlined, low-profile minimalist rig. This rig will not adapt to backmounted singles/doubles tank-diving or with other wings, harnesses or buttplates.

NOMAD JT SIDEMOUNT BC4900 The Nomad JT Sidemount Rig has a 360-degree wing with 50lbs (23kg/222N) of lift that gives added buoyancy at the diver's hips/rear, which is important for explorers carrying big, heavy steel cylinders. It is created as an integrated, continuous system consisting of a harness, wing and buttplate. The modified Deluxe Harness has hardware pivot points on the chest to ensure a proper fit, with metal loops on the wing to control bulk. These hardware touch-points allow the rig to be easily sized/adjusted by the diver. A chest strap is included to keep the rig stable on the diver’s body and minimize shifting from side to side. The crotch strap runs high on the back of the wing to give attachment points for lights, reels or stage tanks. There are two dumps on the bottom of the wing: one on the lower left and one on the lower right, and are helpful when carrying cylinders that may block access to a dump. The Over-Pressure Valve (OPV) on the top of the wing is tucked inside the wing, facing the diver to avoid becoming a water trap. A thin cord runs from the OPV at the top down the left shoulder via a fabric channel. It can be shortened as desired, and is reversible for divers who wish to run it down the right shoulder. A reverse-inflation hose is located just above the lower left dump valve and can be attached to the shoulder D-ring or chest-strap for streamlining and easy access. Tank bungees are attached to daisy chain loops on the inner soft backplate and run across the wing's front sides. There are two sets of loops, plus one center loop allowing options for lengthening or shortening bungees. The Nomad JT comes standard with our tank chokers (BC2720) and ring bungees (BC2722), and standard bungees available upon request. The outer bag is made of SuperFabric® and tear- and abrasion-resistant 1680 denier ballistic nylon and the inner bladder is constructed of thick, 15-mil polyether aromatic polyurethane that is resistant to abrasion and chemicals, has excellent strength and resists microorganism growth. Urethane flanges are welded in place, to allow easy switch-out of corrugated hoses and over-pressurization valves without tools. Equipped with 12-inch corrugated elbow hose and 22-inch low-pressure inflation hose. Weight is 8 pounds. Made in U.S.A.
